Kilbarchan Parish Church has registered as an eco-congregation, and has formed a core group to look at all aspects of Church life. Group members are Elizabeth Dunn, George Grant and Susan MacAskill, along with several others who have indicated their willingness to help. The idea is that this eco-group will work with each organisation, and members of the congregation, looking at all aspects of both Church life and our own private lives, pinpointing areas where we can help to improve our use of resources and manage waste effectively. Working together, all of us can do our part in preserving God’s creation. We will keep you regularly informed of all the latest developments. Unfortunately due to the current Covid 19 pandemic, it has been difficult to make progress with practical information, and to set in motion anychanges, however, we look forward to working more fully on eco issues after lockdown. If anyone is interested in becoming involved with the eco-group please contact Elizabeth, George or Susan through the website – we would welcome your help.
